BWR topographic surveying is performed in the Salina, Kansas and Tyler, Texas areas. Once a client has established that an intersection warrants signalization, our highly proficient consultant team will send a survey crew to that site to conduct a topographic survey. The BWR survey will include physical features, buried and overhead utilities, cross sections and property and right-of-way lines as determined through plats, maps and occupation. The survey will be conducted through an electronic total station data collector and used to create a base plan, profile and cross sections. The total station data collector is the most efficient means for collecting data because it only requires about one-third the man-hours of conventional station and offset surveying. Aerial surveying does not provide the accuracy needed for this type of survey and global position surveying (GPS) can be too costly.
