Workshop Cameron Community Survey results are in! Tabulation of the community survey, which was mailed to 1,000 randomly-selected Cameron households, has been completed. The goal was to engage the community-at-large in a survey of communitywide opinions about local and regional needs and opportunities—building on the community education from the five Community Dialogues. Comprehensive Plan Background Information and Maps are Now Available Demographic and economic information, as well as base maps used during the community workshops are now available. |

The City of Cameron is currently in the process of creating a new Comprehensive Plan, an official public document that will guide the future development of the community. The Plan will set goals, policies, and implementation actions for land use, infrastructure management, downtown revitalization, transportation, and parks and open space. Public involvement is an important part of the Comprehensive Plan process, and citizens are encouraged to attend upcoming public meetings to contribute their ideas for the future of Cameron.
